Samsung has announced the rollout of the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, bringing advanced health tracking features and a more intuitive user experience to existing users. Originally introduced with the Galaxy Watch8 series, these enhancements are now available on the Ultra model, expanding functionality for a wider user base.
Smarter Health Insights
The update introduces a suite of new wellness tools, including:
- Running Coach – provides real-time feedback to improve performance
- Vascular Load – tracks cardiovascular exertion levels
- Antioxidant Index – offers insights into overall wellness
These features are designed to support users in building healthier habits through personalized, motivational data.
A More Intuitive Interface
One UI 8 Watch brings a refined interface optimized for the compact smartwatch display:
Multi-Info Tiles allow users to customize their watch face with key information, such as fitness metrics, calendar events, or weather updates — all accessible at a glance.
The newly introduced Now Bar enhances usability by keeping ongoing activities or tasks readily available, simplifying app switching and multitasking.
Designed for Performance and Style
The Galaxy Watch Ultra continues to cater to outdoor enthusiasts with its durable build and high-performance capabilities. Now available in four titanium finishes, including the new Titanium Blue, the device maintains its premium positioning within the Galaxy ecosystem.
Alongside the Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic target users focused on everyday wellness and timeless style, respectively. All three models, including the Titanium Blue variant, will soon be released globally.
