The completion of the PEVEX logistics and distribution center on Jankomir, in which 13.5 million euros is being invested, is planned for mid-2024, said Krešimir Bubalo, CEO of PEVEX d.d., after visiting the works.
This is the most significant investment of PEVEX this year, and the works, as Bubalo said, are progressing with the desired dynamics.
The center will cover more than 15,000 square meters with associated manipulative areas, roads and horticultural facilities.
The investment in the construction itself amounts to 13.5 million euros, and a little more than 15 million euros will be invested in the equipping, Bubalo said. Due to its good traffic position, proximity to the Zagreb bypass and access to the highway, the western part of Zagreb proved to be an ideal position of the future PEVEX Logistics distribution center.
Pevex’s central warehouse in Zagreb’s Jankomir will be equipped with solar panels for electricity production, which confirms the direction of the company, which is the development and application of environmental solutions aimed at preserving the environment and sustainable business and energy savings.

The contractor for the logistics and distribution center is the company Projektgradnja plus from Slavonski Brod, and the planned completion of works is mid-2024.
CEO Krešimir Bubalo also pointed out that PEVEX has embarked on a strong expansion and will very soon round up Croatia with 40 sales centers. Soon the 29th sales center will open in Vrbovec, and next year PEVEX will come to Poreč.
“We are ready for expansion and we will do it mostly with our own funds,” Bubalo said, noting that they are also looking at potentials outside Croatia.
