Six months after the Swedish launch, the POWERS customer club has reached one million members

Just over six months ago, POWER took over MediaMarkt’s Swedish operations. The MyPOWER customer club has since experienced tremendous growth, and now the electronics chain can reveal that the club has reached one million members in Sweden.

Since the takeover of MediaMarkt’s Swedish operations in August, POWER’s member club MyPOWER has grown steadily. Internal statistics show that as many as one in two customers choose to join MyPOWER, and now the club has passed the milestone of one million members. The strong growth can largely be explained by the generous and unique bonus system, where members receive a two percent bonus on all purchases. In addition, MyPOWER members account for approximately 62 percent more turnover compared to non-members, while visiting the chain an average of 54 percent more often than non-members.
