A successful campaign, a memorable prize and a happy winner: Expert SE and Hoogo have once again teamed up for a joint competition, this time offering customers the chance to win a dream trip to Norway. As part of the Expert Christmas flyer in December 2025, the two partners raffled off a six-day Northern Lights journey for two people, combining product promotion with an emotional customer experience.
The lucky winner, Bernadette Wöstmann, officially received her travel voucher at the expert store Media Park Steinfurt. The handover marked the final highlight of a campaign that not only attracted strong customer interest, but also showed how collaborative promotions can create added value beyond the point of sale.
Cooperation As A Successful Model
The prize includes a climate-neutral trip on the historic coastal express route from Kirkenes to Bergen with Havila Voyages. It includes a Seaview Superior double cabin, full board and a travel credit of €2,000 for arrival, departure and individual excursions.
For Expert SE, the campaign was not only about offering an attractive prize, but also about demonstrating the value of strong collaboration and customer-focused promotions.
“Joint campaigns like this one demonstrate how effective collaboration between retailers and industry partners can be,” emphasised Marcus Willbold, Head of Marketing & E-Commerce at Expert SE headquarters in Langenhagen. The goal is to combine innovative products with emotional experiences and create additional purchase incentives. The positive response once again confirmed that this approach resonates strongly with customers.
The store in Steinfurt was decorated for the occasion, and the owners of Media Park Steinfurt, Ansgar Balzer and Thomas Wagner, also welcomed the successful outcome of the campaign. “These kinds of contests are always something special – especially when we can share the joy right here on site. It’s wonderful to see how a joint effort turns into a real experience for our customers. We are very happy to be able to witness this extraordinary moment here in the store.”
Continuation Of A Successful Collaboration
Ralf Wietek, managing partner of Hoogo, also highlighted the ongoing cooperation: “Last year, we already brought a lot of joy to people with a joint competition with Expert, when we raffled off a Volkswagen ID.3. With the current campaign, we are building on this success and consistently continuing our collaboration.”
The handover of the travel voucher in Steinfurt therefore marks not only the conclusion of a successful campaign, but also another example of experience-oriented marketing in specialist retail.
