Bold strategies and creative campaigns propel POWER to impressive brand recognition in Sweden.

For the 19th consecutive year, the magazine Resumé has recognized Sweden’s best marketing managers. In 2024, the top honor in the home electronics category was awarded to Eddie Hernandez, marketing manager at POWER Sweden.

With vibrant visuals, innovative campaigns, and PR-driven strategies, POWER has revitalized the home electronics sector, making it engaging and enjoyable. Under Eddie Hernandez’s leadership, the brand’s awareness skyrocketed from 0.7% to an impressive 53% in just one year (source: Nepa Brand Tracker, October 2024). These outstanding results and groundbreaking marketing approaches caught the attention of Resumé’s jury, earning Hernandez the title of Sweden’s best marketing manager in the home electronics category.

POWER’s communication should make customers stop and feel ‘wait, what was that?’ We want to show that advertising can be both smart and daring, with a twinkle in the eye, says Eddie Hernandez, marketing manager at POWER Sweden.

The Resumé competition, organized for nearly two decades in collaboration with Xtreme Insight, evaluates approximately 100 brands annually. Winners are chosen based on metrics that reflect positive brand movement, increased consumer preference, and top-of-mind positioning among customers. Eighteen categories are recognized, each celebrating outstanding achievements in marketing leadership.

POWER Sweden’s campaigns are brought to life through collaborations with several agencies: Norwegian advertising agency Schjærven, Swedish PR agency Wenderfalck, media agency Bizkit Havas, and digital agency s360.
