The Expert Austria Autumn Conference marked the grand finale of this year’s Electronics Trade Days in Linz, with Wurm Thomas leading the conference in his customary style. Following the insightful sessions, the highly anticipated Expert Gala Evening and the prestigious award ceremony for “der expert 2023” unfolded, promising an evening of excitement and celebration.
The vibrant setting of Palais Kaufmännischer Verein in Linz’s city centre once again played host to the crowning glory of the Electronics Trade Days—the Expert Gala Evening. The pinnacle of the evening was the awarding of derexpert 2023.
Of the three nominated Expert members – Expert EAH Stans near Landeck, Expert ETECH Molln-Leonstein and Neuhofen and Expert Gamsjäger in Bergland near Ybbs – the choice fell on Expert EAH, who can look forward to the award. The election took place again live on site by all guests present.
A momentous highlight of the Expert Gala Evening was the presentation of the Expert for Lifetime Achievement award to Sales Manager and Member of the Management Board of Miele Austria, Ingo Wimmer.
In the laudatory speeches delivered by Expert Managing Director Alfred Kapfer and Purchasing Manager Wurm Thomas, Ingo Wimmer’s unwavering commitment to the Austrian electrical trade, his exceptional interpersonal skills, and the enduring partnerships forged over the years were acknowledged and celebrated.
